Assertiveness Training

Have you ever been in a situation where someone says to you "just say no" and you think "I can't"....

Or your Bullying and Harassment procedures encourages individuals, as a first step, to ask the colleague who is making your life difficult to "stop" the behaviour, but that is easier said than done....

What is needed in those and many other situations, is Assertiveness. At Challenge, we encourage people to challenge others (as you might expect!) appropriately and constructively.

We have all heard that being assertive is a good thing - but what is it and where do you start if you are not?

This course ensures that participants can distinguish between their different behaviour types, actively choose assertive behaviour and leave the course with confidence to tackle those difficult situations.

This course gives individuals the tools to be able to stand up for themselves and become stronger more effective team members.

Moving into Management

To demonstrate the promise or expectation that your organisation takes account of individual development needs, you need to offer training that allows staff to blossom in their career path.

"Moving into Management" is a course which gives insight in to the world of the Manager. It explores different aspects of Management from supervision to motivating staff, from the role of the Manager to dealing with conflict. There is also advice on how to respond to those sometimes difficult early situations.

This course can be one, two or three days depending on what you need to include.
