Our Standard Terms and Conditions of Booking (Training and Facilitation)

The fees for services provided by Challenge Consultancy Limited stated on the booking confirmation are subject to the addition of VAT at the rate in force at the time of Invoicing.

Invoices are due for payment within 14 days of invoice date. Invoices unpaid after 60 days of invoice date may be subject to an additional surcharge of 5% of the invoice total.

Travel expenses will be charged on all engagements outside of the M25 belt. Travel will be charged at the standard return rail fare or British Airways, or at 45p per mile. There will be an additional charge of up to £150 per overnight stay, if required.

The Client Organisation will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment required for the course, and the provision of a suitable accessible training venue (unless otherwise agreed in writing with Challenge Consultancy Limited).

The fee shown is per trainer, assuming one trainer working with a minimum of eight and a maximum of sixteen participants.

Failure to provide a minimum of eight participants will result in the cancellation of the course and the client will be charged the full agreed fee. An additional surcharge will be levied should the participant group exceed the maximum number agreed.

Cancellation and Postponement of bookings will result in charges as per the scale shown below:

More than 30 days prior to date of engagement £75.00
Within 15 - 30 days prior to date of engagement 50% of full fee
Within 8 - 14 days prior to date of engagement 75% of full fee
Within 0 - 7 days prior to date of engagement 100% of full fee

Where the trainer is unable to fulfil an engagement, Challenge Consultancy Limited will endeavour to provide a suitable alternative trainer. If this is not possible the course fee will be waived.

The fees shown assume that the client will be copying all course materials required for the course. Where Course Materials are copied by Challenge Consultancy Limited, these will be charged for per participant in accordance with the current scale of fees (Copy available on request)

Where a written report is requested by the Client following Training, Facilitation, Mediation or Consultancy, this will be charged for in accordance with the current scale of fees.

On any subsequent engagement of a trainer initially supplied by Challenge, where the subsequent engagement is not made through Challenge, the client will be liable to pay Challenge a surcharge of 20% of the agreed fee, which will be invoiced by Challenge, in addition to any fee payable direct to the trainer.

Any additional terms stated in any proposal relating to this booking form an integral part of these terms and conditions.
